Repairing an ecosystem can take hundreds of years. At least, existing possibilities should not be destroyed for the sustainability of the ecosystem. According to the term called restoration ecology, toxic substances can be stored. Plants can be used for this purpose. In this way, land and water contaminated with metal pollution can be purified from waste. On the other hand, endangered animals can be protected through projects carried out by non-governmental organizations and governments, and action can be taken for environmental regulation and cleanliness.
For the sustainability of the ecosystem, it is necessary to stop the construction of large power plants as soon as possible and prefer eco-friendly, renewable energy sources.
